Bespoke & White Label Products

At Esposti we have many years experience in product design and manufacture of products. Some products you can buy off the shelf. Others have to be made. For over twenty years Esposti has designed and manufactured stationery and presentation products for organisations that need something built to their own specification, and for customers who want a product that already works but carrying their own name and branding.

Whether that means developing an entirely new product from a sketch and a conversation, or applying your logo to an item from our existing range, it is the same team and the same manufacturing relationships behind it.

Why customers come to us

Sourcing a bespoke product directly from overseas manufacture is difficult to do well. It means finding a factory you can trust, specifying the product precisely enough to avoid expensive misunderstandings, managing samples and quality control, and then handling shipping and import.

Most organisations have neither the time nor the volume to justify doing that themselves. We already have those relationships and that process in place. You tell us what you need; we handle the rest and deliver a finished product.

Design and manufacture, managed end to end

We combine in-house product design with virtual manufacture, working alongside established professional manufacturers in Korea and China.

These are relationships we have built and maintained for more than twenty years, and they are what allow us to hold a consistently high standard of quality while keeping pricing competitive.

One point of contact. You deal with Esposti throughout: specification, sampling, production, quality and delivery. There is no need to manage a factory, a freight forwarder and a customs agent separately.

Specification before production. Materials, dimensions, colours, finish, branding and packaging are agreed and documented before anything is made, so what arrives is what was signed off.

Samples before commitment. Wherever practical we produce a sample for your approval ahead of a full production run.

What we can produce

Our experience is concentrated in bound, cased and covered products, where materials, stitching and finish are what determine whether an item feels considered or cheap.

  • Folders, conference folders and portfolios - ring binders, zipped folios, pad holders and presentation folders
  • Card holders and wallets - credit and business card holders, RFID-protected wallets, badge and pass holders
  • Travel products - passport covers, travel document wallets and luggage tags
  • Document holders and cases - document wallets, certificate holders and protective cases
  • Diaries and address books - desk and pocket formats, hardback and soft cover
  • Condolence books and books of remembrance - boxed and unboxed, bound or loose leaf
  • Visitors' books and guest records - for receptions, venues, memorials and public buildings

If what you need sits close to this list without being on it, it is still worth asking.

Two ways to work with us

Fully bespoke. We design and manufacture a product to your specification, from materials and dimensions through to finish and packaging.

This route suits organisations with a requirement that nothing on the market properly answers, or who want a product that is distinctly their own.

Personalised from our existing range. Many customers simply want their name, address and logo added to a product we already make. Because this is applied at the point of manufacture rather than afterwards, the result is a properly finished product rather than a label added late.

This route is usually quicker, and carries a lower minimum quantity than developing something new.

Branding and finishing

Branding is applied during manufacture, and the right method depends on the material, the size of the artwork and the effect you are after.

Foil blocking. A metallic or coloured foil pressed into the surface under heat. It works across all our materials, and is the traditional choice for gold or silver lettering on condolence books, visitors' books and cased covers.

Debossing. Your logo or name pressed into the surface without ink or foil, leaving a recessed impression. Subtle and hard-wearing, and effective where you want the branding present without it dominating the product.

Screen printing. Ink applied directly to the surface. Best suited to larger areas, solid colour and artwork that needs to stand out, and generally the most economical option across bigger runs.

We are happy to advise on which method suits your artwork and material, and to show you the difference on a sample before you commit.

Who we work with

Local councils and public bodies - visitors' books, books of remembrance, and civic and ceremonial stationery for public buildings.

Funeral directors - condolence books and memorial books carrying the firm's own name, so that the item handed to a family reflects the business providing it.

SMEs and corporate customers - conference folders, document wallets and card holders for events, staff and client use.

We also supply the wholesale and retail trade, and can produce own-brand ranges for retailers and distributors.

What to include in your enquiry

The more you can tell us at the outset, the sooner we can come back with something useful. Where possible, please include:

  • What the product is, or the closest equivalent you have seen
  • The approximate quantity you need
  • Any branding to be applied, and where it should appear
  • Any deadline or event date you are working to

Images, sketches or a sample of something similar are always helpful. A photograph of a product you like tells us far more than a paragraph describing it.

Minimum quantities

Bespoke manufacture carries minimum order quantities, which vary by product type and by how much of the item is being made specially. Personalising an existing product generally requires a lower minimum than developing a new one. We will confirm the applicable minimum when we quote.
